Meet the Connect2Surrey Team (Part Two!)
Yesterday, we introduced you to our Business Manager, Sherree, and today it's time to meet the rest of the team (so far!). #FacesofConnect2Surrey
Ben Sampson
Hi Everyone,
I’m Ben Sampson and I am currently the new Customer & Supplier Relationship Manager for Connect2Surrey.
I previously worked for Surrey County Council as a recruitment advisor for Temporary recruitment. I spent 2 and a half brilliant years there, where I learned so much from my former Manager Gemma, who was instrumental in me applying for this position. Part of my role in Surrey was to work closely with the supply chain to ensure everything ran smoothly.
In my spare time I coach kid’s football; on a Saturday I coach year 3’s and 4’s and on a Sunday I coach Under 14’s. I used to play football but when I reached the age of 16 I was told I was too good and it wouldn’t be fair on the rest of the players. 😊
My top tips for candidates would be:
- Research the company before an interview
- Always plan your journey so you are not delayed
- Prepare 3 very good questions to ask at the end of your interview
Looking forward to many successful years here at Connect2Surrey!

In my spare time, I enjoy photography, painting, and socialising with my family and friends.
My top tips for candidates would be:
- Provide as much detail, as you can of your previous experience relating to the role you are interested in.
- Make sure you are transparent about what you can and can’t do.
- Communicate with your Consultants!!

Hi I’m Rhiana!
I am a Talent Partner responsible for recruiting for Business Office Admin (BOA) and Blue Collar (Non-office based roles)
I love working in recruitment; every day is different and the opportunities are endless. The best aspects of my role for me, are having contact with candidates, building relationships, and most importantly finding you work in something you love.
There is nothing more rewarding!
I was previously in the hair industry for 9 years, so I have a huge amount of client-facing experience and I love to build a rapport with people from all walks of life.
In my spare time, I love socialising with friends, going for a workout and swim, and the best of all.. holidays and traveling!
My top tips for candidates would be:
- Be yourself! No one is you, and that is your power!
- Always communicate with your talent partner, that is what we are here for.
- Be prepared, always research the company before an interview
- Be punctual, start, as you mean to go on!
So, that’s the Connect2Surrey team so far… but, watch this space as there will be more faces joining us very soon... #FacesofConnect2Surrey
